Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 3 Bundle pre-order sales heat up!

Pre-order sales for Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Bundle increased this week at Amazon.com Inc. amid building demand for the hardware SKU.

This week, the Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Bundle held a 15 percent sales increase to rank at No. 163 at Amazon’s Video Games division.

The Xbox 360 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Bundle, to be sold Nov. 8, will include an Xbox 360 320GB SKU with custom Modern Warfare 3 graphics and sounds, two custom wireless controllers, special Avatar items, Black Wired Headset, and a copy of Modern Warfare 3 at $399.99.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition SKU, to be sold Nov. 8, will include unique disc art, 1-year of Call of Duty: Elite Membership, Special Founder Status on Call of Duty: Elite, Steelbook Case, Exclusive Playstation Network Animated Timeline Theme, Exclusive Special Ops Juggernaut Xbox Live Outfit, and a Limited Edition Collectible Field Journal.

It will sell at $99.99.

This week, customers who pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will receive an American Special Forces Avatar.

It is concurrently offering an exclusive MW3 Wallpaper with the pre-order purchase of the title.

The Modern Warfare 3 PS3 SKU, Modern Warfare 3 Xbox 360 SKU, and PC SKU hold an MSRP of $59.99 each.

It will be sold Nov. 8.

Modern Warfare 3 is said to include new locations like New York, London and Paris, in addition to several lead characters.

Additionally, the sequel is said to include a co-op survival mode.

The title is said to be in development at Infinity Ward in collaboration with Sledgehammer Studios and Raven Software.

Activision Blizzard in 2010 released Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Sony in Aug. price cut the PS3 160GB SKU to $249.99.

In addition, the PS3 320GB Move Bundle now sells at $349.99.

Finally, the new Playstation 3 320GB Infamous 2 Bundle includes the PS3 320GB hardware SKU, Infamous 2, a 30-day Playstation Plus trail membership and Dualshock 3 Controller at $299.99.

Microsoft in Sept. it began sale of the limited edition Xbox 360 320GB Gears of War 3 Bundle at $399.99.

In 2012 it will sell the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Star Wars Kinect Bundle at $449.99.

Current Xbox 360 stand-alone SKUs include the Xbox 360 250GB hardware at $299.99 and the Xbox 360 4GB hardware at $199.99.
